DAY 1 : Sightseeing in Fes
Our tour will start from Fes with a professional local guide to show you around the old part of Fes, which is considered one of Morocco’s imperial cities. Fes has one of the largest Medinas in the Arab world. The tour guide will probably show you Madrasas, Souks (famous for the variety of spices), Al-Karaouine, the oldest university in the world, mosques, plazas, neighborhood Andalusians and potters, palaces, and museums. Fez is the artisan capital of Morocco. In the afternoon, when you finish the walking tour. Your driver will pick you up to your riad.
DAY 2 : Fes - Ifrane - Midelt - Merzouga Dunes
Our 6 days tour from Fes to Merzouga desert begins early in the morning as you depart from the city of Fes. You will drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains, you’ll make a first stop in Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” for its alpine-style architecture, and later we will stop at the cedar forest to see the Barbary apes. Continuing our to the town of Midelt, where you’ll enjoy a lunch break. As you approach the Ziz Valley, you’ll be mesmerized by the dotted palm groves and fortified villages along the valley. By late afternoon, you’ll arrive in the Merzouga desert, at the edge of the Sahara Desert. Here, you’ll switch to camels for an unforgettable trek across the golden sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, spending a night at a desert camp. As night falls, savor a delicious Moroccan dinner under a starry sky, and enjoy local music around the bonfire.
DAY 3 : Desert Erg Chebbi - Merzouga Desert Tour
After breakfast at the desert camp, our 6 day tour from Fes to Merzouga desert will start from the camp and venture into the desert by visiting the Berber nomadic families in a remote place near the border between Morocco and Algeria, to get to know about their lifestyle and have green tea with them under the traditional tent. Later we will head to take a look at the mines near the sand dunes that were used by the colonization of France.
The next stop will be at Khamlia (village of the Gnaoua) originally slaves of Sudan, we will get to know their unique traditional music, strange dance, and much more about them. After a traditional Berber Pizza. We will end the tour at the hotel on the edge of the dunes.
DAY 4 : Desert Erg Chebbi - Rissani - Todra Gorge - Dades Gorge
Highly recommend waking up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the dunes before enjoying a fresh breakfast. Your 6 day desert tour from Fes continues as you leave the desert behind and head towards Rissani an old historical city very known for its vibrant local old market, if you coincide with one of its weekly markets, we can do a short walk around it. Later, we will drive to Todra Gorge, a stunning canyon with towering rock cliffs that attract climbers from around the world. Take a leisurely walk through the gorge to enjoy its natural beauty. DAY 5 : Dades Gorge - Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
We’ll leave the Dades Valley and head to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Sahara.” Visit the historic Ksar Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and favorite filming location for numerous Hollywood productions. Explore the historic fortified village with its clay structures and twisting lanes, which provide an insight into Berber Morocco’s history and culture. After lunch, you’ll continue your 6 days desert tour from Fes over the High Atlas Mountains, passing via the dramatic Tizi n’Tichka pass, which offers breathtaking views. And finally arrive in Marrakech by late afternoon.
DAY 6 : Marrakech sightseeing
The last day of the tour we will get a chance to explore and visit Marrakech. You will have almost a full day to explore this bustling city with a local guide who will come personally to escort you from your hotel.
We will visit some of the most visited sites, including the Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia, Majorelle Gardens, and traditional Souks. Best 6 days tour from Fes
We had a 6 day desert tour fro Fes to Marrakech. I would recommend this trip for anyone visiting Morocco. Our guide, Hassan, was very accommodating, helpful, and knowledgeable on the area. He answered all of our questions and also introduced us to some great Berber music along the way! We especially enjoyed traveling through the remote parts of the desert and getting to see some absolutely stunning landscapes.

Amazing 6 day tour through Atlas Mountains and Sahara Desert!
We travelled as a family of 4 and were wonderfully looked after by our tour guide, Hassan, who grew up close to the Sahara and so could tell us many amazing facts about the area.
We stayed at nice hotels and stopped along the way at great lunch venues which catered for my fussy kids!
I would definitely recommend this company!

We had an amazing 6 day tour from Fes with Hassan as our driver. He was so sweet and fun to travel with. He was very knowledgeable and answered all our (many) questions. We saw so many cool and interesting things and places and learned so much about Morocco. All of the places we stayed were super nice and comfortable. If you’re thinking of booking a tour with To Morocco, JUST DO IT. You won’t regret it!
