MOROCCO ITINERARY 5 DAYS FROM CASABLANCA
DAY 1: Casablanca – Rabat - Fes:
Today, we begin our Morocco itinerary 5 days by exploring Casablanca. Then we travel to Rabat, where we stop before continuing on to Fes. In Fes, Morocco’s oldest city, we will see the Royal Palace, the Jewish Quarter, and other cultural and historical landmarks. This tour also includes a stop at tiles workshop, and famous tanneries. We’ll spend the night in a local riad.
DAY 2: Fes - Ifrane - Ziz Valley - Merzouga Desert:
Today, we travel over the breathtaking Atlas Mountains to reach the cedar forest, where we will stop to observe the apes. Later, we go to Midelt, a town known for its minerals and apples. We will next go via the Ziz valley to the city of Erfoud, which is famed for its fossil products. Finally, we will arrive in the Merzouga desert, where we will experience the camel ride over the dunes with a spectacular sunset. After dinner in the desert camp, you will enjoy an unforgettable experience with the Berbers around the bonfire under the starry sky.
DAY 3: Tour around Merzouga Desert:
In the morning, we highly recommend waking up early to watch the stunning sunrise over the desert dunes. After breakfast in the camp, you will start your adventures in a 4×4 car. The desert tour will start by visiting some nomads who still live the old lifestyle, then driving through the desert to enjoy the scenery of the Sahara desert. At lunchtime, you will try to savor a Berber Pizza called Madfouna. Later, visit the nearby village of Khamlia, noted for musicians from Sudan and Mali.
In the evening, you will be free to either chill out at the hotel or try some of our desert activities, such as a quad bike or Buggy ride.
DAY 4: Merzouga Desert - Rissani - Todra Gorge - Dades Valley
Our private Morocco itinerary 5 days continues today, as we’ll drive to Rissani to visit the local souk before continuing on to Todra Gorge, where you will enjoy a stunning tower cliff of the canyon. In the afternoon, we will go to Dades Gorge, where we will spend the night in a local hotel, complete with dinner and breakfast.
DAY 5: Dades Valley - Ait Ben Haddou - High Atlas - Marrakech
The third day of our 5 days tour from Casablanca starts with an optional visit to a local movie studio in Ouarzazate. Later, we will visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou. Then we’ll drive across Morocco’s highest road pass, Tizi n’Tichka, till we arrive in Marrakech, where our Morocco itinerary 5 days comes to an end.
